Internal factors: including bearing material selection, structural design and machining accuracy. These intrinsic characteristics determine the basic performance and reliability of bearings.

Methods to improve bearing life

 

Optimized seal design: Since mill bearings are often exposed to contaminants, a good seal prevents cooling water and iron oxide from entering the bearing, thereby reducing the risk of material fatigue and wear. It is recommended to use waterproof rubber pads and fluororubber framework sealing rings to strengthen the sealing effect.

 

Choose the right lubricant: Proper lubrication can significantly reduce friction and remove heat. In order to ensure the effective distribution of grease, it is recommended to improve the position of the oil injection port so that the grease can evenly cover the bearing surface to avoid problems caused by insufficient lubrication.

 

Precise installation process: The correct installation method is critical to ensure the long-term stable operation of the bearing. For example, when installing four rows of cylindrical bearings, ensure that the inner and outer end caps are properly positioned and in close contact with the outer ring of the bearing, and use the worm adjusting positioning ring to secure the bearing position and ensure that all clearances are up to standard.
